What is an elopement?
An true elopement is a small intimate wedding ceremony with the bride, groom, officiant, and sometimes a witness.
Why should I elope?
An elopement is a fun way to keep your ceremony small and reserved to just a few important people that you would like you include. You get to choose the most picturesque locations (let's hike-in or find an easily accessible location) and can have the most stunning views that include photography and videography that you will cherish for a lifetime.
Can I have guests at my elopement?
Absolutley! Bring one, or five. I just HIGHLY suggest keeping it at or under five as guests can quickly take away from an intimate experince.
Do you have experience with elopements?
Yes!!! Elopements are my FAVORITE! I co-owned an elopement company (Magic Valley Elopements) for over 2 years before absorbing the company into Magic Valley Elopements with Megan Hurt Photography. I have done many elopements and know the extensive ins-and-outs of how to successfully make a stress free elopement work. I am very familiar with locations, vendors, and building a day-of timeline seamless for your perfect elopement.
What about vendors?
I have worked with some AMAZING vendors that can provide the perfect additions to your elopement. I have gleaming recommendations for florists, officiants, cosmetologists offering hair and makeup services, and so much more!
Just don't forget that less is more with an elopement and simplicity is key.
What do you provide for an elopement?
With every elopement package a phone consult, location guide, day-of timeline, vendor reccomendations, and day-of coordination, and a minimum of two hours of coverage is included in the price.
Why do your packages start at 2 hours of coverage?
I have done elopements in the past with a length shorter than two hours and I truly feel that 120 minutes is KEY to a successful adventure elopement. Two hours provides enough time to travel from place to place, not feel rushed, and really take your time enjoy each other.
